Dr. Liselotte Schuster
I am originally from the East Coast and graduated from Temple University with my bachelor's in biology. I then headed to the Midwest and received my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1989 from National College of Chiropractic. Since then I have been blessed to be a Family Chiropractor. Patients often tell me that they never know what I am going to do during their 30- or 60-minute session as I adapt it according to what we talk about and what I find. I have been told that this is not typical, yet why they believe my approach is so successful.
What I love about being a chiropractor is the gratification that occurs as I help the body be in the most receptive mode to heal itself. Every minute of every day and night our body is always working hard for us. We only get one body in our lifetime and chiropractic respects the delicate balance needed to maintain wellness and to help with all kinds of symptoms, be they acute or chronic. Chiropractic is an amazing drugless and non-invasive tool that helps keep the body functioning gracefully for children, pregnant women and adults.
When I am not in my office, I sing as music feeds my soul. I am also passionate about what happens when we "die". This information helped soften my grief after the passing of my father, sister, step father and my pets. I practice mindfulness and other skills that keep trust and faith in the forefront of my thoughts. I keep my body as healthy as possible through a higher animal protein diet, supplements and movement. I also receive acupuncture every week from Julie Segall and have two chiropractors that I get adjusted by every week: Dr. Marvin Talsky and Dr. Steven Sciame. May you always find the right skills and team of people that help keep you healthy and filled with gratitude.
